To use the scale: 1. Assemble the tray and scale body. 2. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface, such as a table or linoleum floor. 3. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the scale and press TARE before use. 4. Press the UNIT button to change the measurement unit (kg/oz/lb). 5. Gently place the baby or pet on the tray, and the digital display will show the weight in the unit you selected. 6. Press the HOLD button to lock the weight on the screen. Press again to cancel the hold. 7. Long press the ON/OFF button to turn off the scale.
